Meet Our Founder

​

Taylor Elizabeth Jeffrey is the Founder and CEO of Sheek Gal Creative Agency, established in 2016. An editorial stylist, social practice artist, and art director; Taylor’s creative journey began with a deep passion for fashion and a love for collaborating with amazing talent—models, photographers, stylists, wardrobe designers, and business owners alike. Her work is rooted in the perspective of an art director: understanding an artist’s vision, then thoughtfully curating key elements to transform that vision into a cohesive visual masterpiece.

Five years into building SG Agency, Taylor’s passion for set design grew alongside her love for fashion, leading the agency to expand its services to include custom set design—opening a natural doorway into the art world. This evolution allowed her to seamlessly merge styling, spatial storytelling, and visual narrative into one practice.

In 2023, Taylor was awarded an internship with the Getty Museum, where she further refined her multidisciplinary approach. The experience allowed her to formally unite fashion design, styling, art direction, and set design while studying the work of legendary artists such as Betye Saar and Augusta Savage—artists she had long admired—alongside other assemblage artists and sculptors within the Getty’s expansive archive. In 2024 Taylor became an ACTIVATE Emerging Arts Leader with Arts for LA allowing her to gain hands on experience in public art programming  as SG Agency prepared to offer our own public art workshops known as Creative Force Workshops.

Today, SG Agency is increasingly intentional about the materials it uses and the visual message it communicates. Taylor has expanded her practice through studies in eco-dyeing at the Armory Arts Center in Pasadena, epoxy woodworking at Rockler Woodshop, and even creating our own source of eco dyes through our 10 X 10 community garden space in Long Beach. With the obtainment of this garden space by SG Agency we will be offering exclusive eco dye plant workshops in 2026 ; customizing sustainable tote bags ! SGA's drive and curiosity around art and design continue to converge in a fashion-forward, conscious way—one we are committed to evolving and growing with each project.
